Maracaju, Brazil – From May 20 to 22, the agricultural heartland of Brazil will host Showtec 2025, the largest agribusiness event in Mato Grosso do Sul. Organized by Fundação MS, this year is edition is expected to draw over 25,000 visitors and feature more than 170 exhibitors across 120,000 square meters of exhibition space.
A highlight of the event is Wintex Agro Brasil, a company renowned for its advanced soil sampling technology. Their flagship product, the Wintex 1000, is an automatic soil sampler capable of collecting up to 20 homogeneous samples per hour at depths of up to 25 cm. This efficiency surpasses traditional manual methods, allowing for more extensive and accurate soil analysis without additional labor.
For deeper soil analysis, Wintex offers the 2000 and 3000 models, which can sample at depths of 60 cm and 90 cm, respectively. These models can collect samples from multiple soil layers in a single operation, providing detailed insights into soil composition.
By integrating GPS technology, Wintex is samplers enable precise geolocation of samples, facilitating the creation of variable rate application maps for fertilizers and soil amendments.
Showtec 2025 will also feature innovations from industry leaders like BASF and Bayer. BASF Xarvio Digital Farming Solutions will present tools for optimized crop management, including variable rate seeding and digital weed mapping, which have demonstrated significant cost savings and productivity gains. Bayer will showcase its integrated portfolio of seeds, crop protection solutions, and digital tools aimed at enhancing sustainable agricultural practices.
